The aim of this show is to introduce young audiences to the medieval repertoire, combining high artistic standards with easy, immediate access.

“Mahaut, fille de bois” (Mahaut, Daughter of Wood) is a show set in the imaginary Middle Ages. Legend has it that a very long time ago, fairies would steal babies from their cradles and replace them with a simple piece of wood. With a lot of love, the stick would come to life… and so begins the story of Mahaut, our heroine. It’s a quest for initiation studded with exciting adventures and colourful characters, where laughter, irreverence and magic mingle with music. It explores notions of identity, legitimacy, filiation and love.
