Immersed in the culture, traditions, and colors of their homeland since birth, Les Télamurés-Tarentella Roots transport us into a powerful and captivating musical universe, both ancient and contemporary. The tarantella, pizzica pizzica, and tammurriata express, through the group’s interpretation, their liveliness, vigor, and character—both ancestral and modern. The obsessive rhythms, which in the past sparked true trance rituals and moments of liberation, resurface through the instruments and voices of the musicians with a new and surprising intensity, transmitting themselves through the feet and bodies of the audience in the form of an instinctive and uncontrollable dance. The variety of traditional instruments, the power of the voices, and the natural stage presence of the musicians all contribute to making the Télamuré Tarantella-Roots concert a vibrant performance, where the passion and joy of life that characterize the folk festivals of Southern Italy can be felt instantly.
